- Hometown Warren, OH.
- Highschool Warren G. Harding HS
Player Profile:
Overall Grade: 66
Strengths:
- Wins with wiggle
- Quick bend on inside zone runs
- Initial body control
- Quick multiple cuts
- Firm base, braces for contact, able to gain extra yards forward
- Good vision, timely traffic evasion
Weaknesses:
- Limited lateral agility
- Runs tall
- Limited long speed/acceleration
Scouting Report:
Adams is a quick multi cut back with solid vision and contact balance. Adams is a tight hipped athlete with good overall body control and quick feet but limited speed and lateral explosion. Adams has good vision, initial body control and decisive action initiaton. He can either bend to the backside or combine multiple cuts to get into open gaps. Upfield Adams keeps a good base leading to tackle shedding and a downhill finish to get extra yards. Adams needs to improve his pad level and lower body engagement as he runs tall at times which will lead to inconsistent contact balance and cutting ability. Adams is a short area runner that lacks the desired speed, acceleration and fluidity to his game but should get a shot at an NFL minicamp after the draft.
