Overview: Grade- 82

Beckett is a force as a pass blocker using his frame and strong first punch to consistently shock defenders and get them off their spots and disrupt their pass rush plan. He doesn’t have much lateral agility to truly get from gap to gap quickly but makes up for it with his spatial awareness and length with a big base to take on contact if he isn’t fully prepared to get inside hands. The trait that stands out the most in Beckett’s game is his ability to pull. He does a great job of getting out of his stance quickly from the snap, keeps a fluid base and loads up with proper angles and power to clear lanes in the run game. Beckett needs to clean up his hands as a run blocker along with lacking the lateral agility that will get him beat across his face. At the point of attack Beckett places his arms outside of defender’s arms rather than inside creating lack of power and ability to move block the defender. Beckett has limited leg drive in the run game coming from lack of foot speed and jolt in his hips to press the attack downfield. If Beckett can clean up his hand placement and punch harder at the point of attack as a run blocker, he has the potential to be an all-around physical Prescence in the NFL. As of now Beckett has the tools to make an NFL roster through training camp.
