All-MAC center begins his senior year of eligibility with 29 total starts for the Cardinals at center … anchors an offensive line that boasts a whopping 117 Division I starts (Mucciolo 38, Kaylor 35, Tyo 12, Meeder 3) … following knee injuries last season he briefly expected to “retire,” but returned to the program during the latter half of spring ball to anchor the Cardinals’ most experienced unit … led an O-line unit that ranked fifth and 17th in TFLs allowed over the 2021 and 2022 seasons … helped Cardinal running backs eclipse 1,000 rushing yards in three straight seasons … on track to graduate in December.
2023: Started seven games and missed five due to a pair of knee injuries … paced one of the MAC’s most experienced offensive lines while starting the season’s first five games … after missing games against Eastern Michigan and Toledo, he returned for two more starts before shutting down for the season’s last three games.
2022: Second-team All-MAC selection while starting all 12 games at center and paced an O-line unit that ranked fifth in the FBS with just 3.6 TFLs allowed per game … was the Cards’ only offensive linemen to start every game.
2021: Competed in 12 games along the offensive line and took over starting duties at center … helped pave the way for freshman RB Carson Steele to post a 1,000 all-purpose yard season, one of only six true freshmen in the country to accomplish the feat in 2021 … guided an offensive line that allowed just 4.31 tackles-for-loss per game … first game action of the season came at Penn State (Sept. 11) … started final nine games of the season.
2020: Saw action in three games … filled in briefly at center against Eastern Michigan for his first career snaps … also appeared in the MAC Championship Game victory over No. 23 Buffalo and the Arizona Bowl win over No. 19 San Jose State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters from head coach Eric Moore at Center Grove High … 2-star recruit via 247Sports … helped the Trojans reach the 2019 state championship game against Carmel … first team all-conference as a senior … earned a spot on the all-state top 50 list … named the team’s most outstanding lineman as a sophomore and senior.
PERSONAL: Son of Bryan and Danielle Crowe … three younger siblings … father, Bryan, played collegiate basketball at Franklin University.
