Isaiah Neyor has started every game this season and leads Nebraska with 291 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. He also ranks second ont he team with 17 receptions and 304 all-purpose yards. Entering the Rutgers game, Neyor ranks 21st nationally with four touchdown receptions.
In his Nebraska debut against UTEP, Neyor caught six passes for 121 yards with a 59-yard touchdown. His six catches tied his career high while Neyor posted his fourth career 100-yard receiving game. He had four catches for 31 yards against Colorado. Neyor caught two passes for 35 yards against Northern Iowa, including an 18-yard touchdown. He had four catches for 90 yards against Illinois with a pair of touchdowns. Neyor also had a 13-yard carry against the Illini. Neyor caught one pass for 14 yards at Purdue.
Before Nebraska (Arlington Lamar HS/Wyoming/Texas)
Neyor played in Texas’ season opener against Rice in 2023 and had one catch for 14 yards. In his first season at Texas in 2022, Neyor suffered an injury during fall camp and did not play in a game.
Neyor began his college career at Wyoming, where he was a second-team All-Mountain West honoree in 2021. He caught 44 passes for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns in his sophomore season. His 19.95 yards per catch and 12 receiving touchdowns both led the MWC and ranked sixth and eighth in the FBS, respectively. Neyor had back-to-back 100-yard receiving games at Boise State and Utah State.
He played in all six games of a pandemic-shortened 2020 season and had eight catches for 248 yards. His 31.0 yards per catch would have led the nation had he met the minimum receptions per game requirement. Neyor had 102 yards on three catches at Nevada. He played in one game as a true freshman in 2019.
Neyor was a second-team All-District 4-6A selection in 2018 for Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas. He had 39 catches for 858 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior. His play helped Lamar to an 11-2 record, and an appearance in the 6A Division 1 regional playoffs.
Personal
Isaiah was born on June 7, 2001, and he is the son of Gabriel and Patricia Mulubah. He is majoring in child, youth and family studies and is on track to graduate in December of 2024.
