2023 (Sophomore): Earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors from the league’s head coaches … One of nine Cowboys and seven defensive players to start all 14 games …. Finished the year ranked among the Big 12 leaders with two fumble recoveries (second), 62 solo tackles (fifth), 105 total tackles (fifth) and 7.5 tackles per game (eighth) … His 105 tackles were second on the team as he combined with linebacker Nick Martin and safety Trey Rucker to make Oklahoma State one of two FBS teams and the only Power Five team with three players to record triple-digit tackles on the year … It was the first time it’s happened at OSU since 1985 … Tallied at least four tackles in every game, with highs of 11 at West Virginia and UCF, 10 at Iowa State and nine at Arizona State … Made a key play at West Virginia when he forced and recovered fumble on same play … His other fumble recovery came in the season opening win over Central Arkansas … Recorded an interception and returned it 20 yards in the win over Kansas … Also made the game-sealing interception near the goal line with no time remaining in OSU’s one-possession win over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl and added a pass breakup against the Aggies earlier in the game … Recorded one sack each against South Alabama and UCF … Finished the year with 5.5 tackles for loss … Served as a game captain at Iowa State … Named OSU’s co-defensive MVP for his performance at West Virginia … Named to the preseason All-Big 12 team.
 

2022 (Freshman): Had a breakout season in his first year as a regular part of the lineup … Honors included being named the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year by the league’s coaches and being included on the FWAA Freshman All-America Team, receiving third team honors on the College Football News Freshman All-America team and being lists on the second-team All-Big 12 team by the league’s coaches … Also a first team Academic All-Big 12 honoree … Played in all 13 games and started five times, including four of the final six contests … Finished the year ranking fourth among all FBS freshmen with three interceptions and fifth among all FBS freshmen with an average of 5.5 tackles per game … His 71 total tackles ranked fourth on the team and his three interceptions were second on the squad behind only All-American Jason Taylor III … 45 of his tackles were solo stops … Added 6.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups, four quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and a safety … Had a season-best 11 tackles against both Central Michigan and Kansas … Record at least one tackle in every game and had eight games with at least five tackles … Set a season-best with 2.0 tackles for loss in the win over Texas Tech … Had an assisted tackle for loss that resulted in a safety in the win at Baylor … Created two turnovers via a forced fumble and an interception and had a game-high 10 tackles, as well as 1.5 tackles for loss in OSU’s six-point win over Iowa State to earn Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Week honors … His other interceptions came in the wins over Central Michigan and Texas .. The Iowa State interception was returned 12 yards and the Texas interception occurred on the final UT play of the game and was returned eight yards to seal the seven-point Cowboy win.
 

2021: Saw action against Kansas, TCU and Notre Dame while taking a redshirt season but did not record any stats.
 

High School: Played for coach David Tenison at Beggs … Helped lead Beggs to a state semifinals appearance as a junior and a senior, as his team finished 11-3 in 2019 and 10-3 in 2020 … Also part of a state runner-up team at Beggs as a sophomore in 2018 … Selected for the 2021 All-American Bowl … Played both ways as a safety on defense and a wide receiver on offense … Finished his senior season as an all-state selection with 120 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, four interceptions and an interception return for a touchdown on defense, while adding 56 catches for 642 yards and 10 touchdowns on offense … As a junior, he totaled 117 tackles, six interceptions and three interception return touchdowns to go along with three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries … A multiple-sport athlete who played football and basketball … Originally committed to Texas A&M but switched to Oklahoma State in March of 2021 … A consensus four-star recruit who was tabbed as the No. 41 overall player in the class and the No. 1 player in the state of Oklahoma by 247Sports, making him the highest-ranked player in OSU’s 2021 signing class … A late addition to the class who signed in March … Chose Oklahoma State from an extensive list of offers that included Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Notre Dame, USC, Oregon, Florida State and many others.
