Transferred in from Maryland a season ago, seeing significant playing time in year one … leads the Tide’s deep tight end room … caught 14 passes for 169 yards in eight starts … named to the Mackey Award Watch List, presented each year to the nation’s top tight end … selected as an offensive (power) player of the week by the Alabama coaches for his output at Wisconsin. Western Kentucky: Got the start against the Hilltoppers … finished with one catch for eight yards. USF: Caught one of his two targets for a 12-yard gain and a Tide first down. Wisconsin: Provided blocks off the edge to help the Tide rack up 400-plus yards of offense in Madison. Georgia: Totaled 38 yards and two first downs on four receptions. Vanderbilt: Converted a pair of first downs across his two catches for 66 yards. South Carolina: Registered a pair of receptions for no gain. Tennessee: Caught two passes for a combined 21 yards on the day. Missouri: Hauled in both of his targets for a combined 27 yards against the Tigers.

Earned playing time in all 14 games with 11 starts during his first year with the Tide … totaled 187 yards on 11 catches … also made two tackles … named to the Mackey Award Watch List, an honor presented to the nation’s top tight end. Middle Tennessee: Caught one pass for five yards in his Alabama debut. Texas: Got the start against the Longhorns … contributed one tackle. USF: Hauled in one pass for a 45-yard gain against the Bulls. Ole Miss: Combined for 28 yards on two catches in the SEC opener. Mississippi State: Converted a first down with his lone reception of 26 yards against the Bulldogs. Texas A&M: Got the start in Bryan-College Station but did not record any stats. Arkansas: Saw time against the Hogs. Tennessee: Caught one pass for a gain of 15 yards and a Tide first down. LSU: Converted a first down on his lone reception for a gain of 11 yards. Kentucky: Recorded a first down on his 30-yard reception against the Wildcats. Chattanooga: Targeted once on the day but did not record any stats. Auburn: Provided key blocks on the outside to help the Crimson Tide rack up 192 rushing yards. Georgia: Caught one pass for a 12-yard gain … also added a key special teams tackle on punt coverage. Michigan: Accumulated 15 yards across his two catches in the Rose Bowl.

Joined the Crimson Tide after two seasons at Maryland where he was a standout at tight end … totaled 33 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns across 25 games played … caught 30 passes for 314 yards and three touchdowns in 12 starts as a sophomore … appeared in all 13 games with one start as a freshman … recorded three receptions for 25 yards in 2021 … signed with the Terps out of Lakeland High School in Scranton, Pa., where he was a quarterback and tight end … finished with 2,181 passing yards and 18 touchdowns to go with 777 rushing yards and five receiving touchdowns during his prep career … a two-sport athlete who also threw discus at LHS.
